Our Strategic Sourcing teams negotiate food, packaging, non-food and equipment items. With world-class buying expertise, supplier-relationship management and evolving strategic processes, our procurement teams are responsible for negotiating prices on 2,000-plus food and packaging items and over 20,000 equipment items.
Commodity Risk Management
From ingredient changes in a batter mix or sauce, to resins used in paper goods or food containers, commodities form the backbone of strategic purchasing. Best-in-class strategies monitor risk and protect member costs, strategically executing solutions based on all supply and market factors. Commodity Risk Management serves as a vital link of information between the concept boards and the teams that manage our procurement activities.
Supply Chain Operations
Supply Planning managers interact between the brands, procurement teams, suppliers, distributors and franchisees to ensure supply. From the initial planning stages to the test and or launch of any new food or packaging item, this team strategically directs inventory production and distribution replenishment throughout the duration of a national launch or test.
Supplier partnerships are critical in the management of the supply chain. The Product Supply team develops and fosters innovative relationships with supplier and distributor partners and ensures supply. Responding to sudden changes in supply and demand, food supply, government legislation, natural disasters, public health and geopolitical trends demand agility and adaptability. This team is committed to providing our members with solid distribution options and low transportation costs.
Restaurant Development & Equipment Solutions
RSCS Equipment Solutions manages supplier relationships, product availability, contract negotiations, and other initiatives. Interfacing regularly with members, the Restaurant Development team provides project management oversight and execution of new store build and remodels, overseeing project planning, construction and project closeouts. With daily interaction via phone, web and email, Customer Support provides vast, specific brand equipment product knowledge that is critical to ensure restaurants operate effectively.
