Chief Operating Officer
As Chief Operating Officer, Silberg provides strategic leadership to our concept operations teams, drives connectivity across all operations functions, and leverages the supply chain planning technology, S&OP, and centralized fulfillment planning. Prior to becoming COO, Silberg served as CPO leading the procurement teams, driving the planning and execution for commodity risk management and strategic sourcing across the entirety of our system. Working in partnership with franchisees, suppliers, distributors, YUM! Brands, and trading partners, his philosophy delivered a competitive advantage to all members through “best in class” procurement of all food, packaging, equipment and services. Prior to the CPO role, Silberg served as Executive Vice President, Taco Bell Supply Chain.
Silberg joined RSCS from McDonald’s Corporation where he served as Director, US Strategic Sourcing. Prior to McDonald’s, he progressed through leadership roles at Darden Restaurants over 12 years, culminating as Director, Purchasing and Distribution, where he developed a world class strategic product purchasing and distribution program while driving supply chain efficiencies. Silberg earned his Bachelor of Science from Illinois State University in Environmental Health.
